Hi! My name is Bona_Berlin.
WHEN DID YOU START PAINTING AND HOW DID YOU GET INTO IT?
I started painting very early. Luckily my mom asked us to do a lot of handcraft.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE
I paint heads in different colours and shapes. They look preatty similar at first sight but they are as unique as everyone of us is. For me it is all about the arrangement of colours and shapes.
WHAT ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS?
I am very much inspired by different countries and cultures. So traveling gives me a lot.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR HOME CITY AND IT'S ART SCENE?
In Hamburg there is a very wide art scene.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PAINTING LOCATION SO FAR AND WHAT MAKES THIS YOUR FAVOURITE?
My favorite wall is mostly the last one i worked at. But my all time favorite so far is the wall i did in Cape Town ."Together we are more" was painted for @ipaf_festival_sa and i love the light, the sun and that old Jetta in front of it - Here is the link.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM LOCATION/COLLABORATION/PROJECT?
I would love to paint a skyscraper :-D

WHAT DOES GRAFFITI/STREET ART MEAN TO YOU?
I cannot imagine a live without.
ARE YOU MORE INTO SOLO ARTWORKS OR INTO COLLABORATIVE PRODUCTIONS?
Both. but a little bit more into solo work maybe.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MEETING OF STYLES AND PAINTING JAMS IN GENERAL?
I really like it, because there are so many different artists - and there is always something to learn from and talk about. and its art and travel, which combines two of my passions.
HOW DO YOU SEE THE RISE OF STREET ART AND NEW TENDENCIES LIKE BIG SCALE MURALISMO?
I think its a normal development. as always there are pros and cons.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA IN TERMS OF GRAFFITI AND HOW DO YOU THINK IT AFFECTS THE SCENE?
Social Media is a good way to show art to new communities. For example you can connect with people you wouldn’t have met in real life. I like that.
